(ENGLISH VERSION) TIPICAL APULIAN ORECCHIETTE WITH TURNIPS

There are many typical dishes of Bari land. We started with the queen of dishes.

the ORECCHIETTE WITH TURNIPS

BELOW WE EXPLAIN THE RECIPE.

Time: 20 min Cooking time: 15min Portions: 4 p.

- 1,5 kg ( 53 oz) Turnips Top - 400g ( 15oz ) homemade orecchiette

- Extravirgin olive oil - 3-4 Anchovy fillets in oil (intense fruity)

- 1 o 2 Clove Garlic - Chili pepper

- salt (at your leisure)

PREPARATION:

1) Wash and clean the turnips thoroughly, choosing the superior part.

2) Boil the water in a cooker

3) Pour into the pot, only the turnips in order to soften them.

4) After a few minutes, pour the pasta into the pot with the turnips.

So, orecchiette will have the flavor thanks the sauce.

5) Prepare a sauté with extra virgin olive oil, 2 cloves of garlic and 3-4 well cleaned anchovy fillets in a cooker.

6) Cook the garlic cloves until golden brown

7) Once the orecchiette will be cooked (15 min) mix the pasta with turnips.

8) pour the Apulian extra virgin olive oil on the plate of orecchiette and turnips.

The Extravirgin oilo olive that we reccomend is :

INTENSE FRUITY
